Tour to Mount Abu 21-23 Nov 2018
Educational tours are the educational experiences that allows the students to apply lessons to the real world. Keeping this in the mind, Malviya Convent School had organized an Educational tour to Mount Abu for the students of classes XI and XII from 21st Nov to 23rd nov. The beauty of this small yet wonderful hill station in the Arravalis was breath taking. The fresh air of the mountains, winding paths fenced in rich foliages and landscapes exhilarated the senses. The tour commenced with the visit to “Nakki Lake”. Students enjoyed their visit to Nakki lake and did shopping for locals handicrafts in the market around the lake. This lake looks like a tiny blue pearl surrounded by mighty mountains and rock formations. Then group visited Adhar Devi Temple. Students enjoyed to climb 365 mountainous stairs to respect to goddess Durga, after reaching the top, they all crawled through a narrow opening to reach the temple. Group then visited “Om Shanti Bhawan” The Universal Peace Hall, which is the headquarters of the Brahmkumaris Foundation. The tranquil and extremely peaceful environment of the bhawan enabled the students to relax and rejuvenate. After this all went to Sunset Point. The sight was amazing as mighty sun going down behind the mountains. Students enjoyed a lot and danced on Bollywood and Hollywood songs in Dance And DJ Arena of Resort. Next Day of trip Students visited Achalgarh Fort, Famous shiv temple. Next in the series was Guru Shikhar. This is the highest peak of Aravalli mountain, home to a cave temple. The view from the top is very impressive The students experienced the rich culture heritage of our country through the sculpture and carvings of Dilwara Temple. There were five marble temples which are blend of artistic creativity and elegance (Photo session was not allowed there). Every stone, every pillar, every carving and every piece of crafts manship tells its own unique story. This fun filled, full of learning tour, will forever remain embedded in the memories of the students.
